Baby Bump Week 36

Baby Bump pictures were taken today in the same spot in Caleb's room as last week. As you can see, we are making some progress in his room. Dad put up the shelves and Mom helped me put some of Caleb's little keepsakes on them.

Can you believe this belly??? I most definitely feel like I am going to POP! He keeps growing and for that I am thankful. 4 weeks and counting!!!

Baby Bump Week 35

34 1/2 Week Ultrasound

Wednesday, I had an ultrasound to check the size of the baby. I've been measuring smaller, so they wanted to make sure everything was okay. Praise the Lord that Caleb is right on schedule! He weighed 5.1 pounds and is right on target. They also checked my amniotic fluid levels and that was completely normal as well. Dr. Wiist said he couldn't be happier!

Here are a few new pictures of our little Caleb!

Thank you Lord for continuing to knit our baby boy together!

The Jones Family Baby Shower

My Aunt Denise and Cousin Larren were so very gracious to throw me a baby shower with all of my dad's side of the family.

It was this past Sunday afternoon and was so nice. We had a lunch of fried chicken, macaroni and cheese, green beans, strawberry salad, biscuits, and dessert. It was delicious! Our desserts you can see below... petit fours, pound cake, and one of my favorites - raspberry bars. The cute little rabbit on the table was also a gift for Caleb!

After eating, I opened wonderful gifts from my family. Once again the Lord has blessed us abundantly with our family's love and generosity. Here are a few pics...

Baby Shower given by Mandy and Michelle

My sister-in-law, Mandy, and her mother, Michelle gave me an AMAZING baby shower this past Saturday. The theme was lambs and they did a wonderful job bringing in the colors of Caleb's room, including so many special touches in the decor.
This is the lamb diaper cake... isn't it so cute!

The food was great!
My favorites were the hot ham and cheese sandwiches and the delicious petit fours.
In the center of the table, Mandy and Michelle used this beautiful fabric that they found that matches Caleb's bedding that Mom is making. They let me have it for the baby's room, to add some accent pieces like pillows. I was so excited to be able to have another coordinating fabric for Caleb's room, especially since we were having a difficult time finding fabrics to match.

I have always loved lambs for their spiritual significance, and one day I saw a canvas in a store that read "The Lord is my Shepherd". Once I decided to add lambs to Caleb's room as accents, Mandy and I decided to paint some canvases together for his room. These are the canvases we did below.

As a special surprise, Mandy painted me this frame for Caleb's room to match the canvases we did. Isn't it just precious? She did an amazing job!!! Thank you Aunt Mandy!

The cute baby clothesline with clothes for Caleb...

For shower favors, Mandy and Michelle made chocolate suckers in the shape of lambs - another precious detail that made this shower so perfect!

Mandy planned some special games for us to play - here everyone is smelling and tasting baby food trying to guess the flavor.

All of my wonderful gifts - Thank you to everyone for blessing me and Caleb so generously with such thoughtful presents!

Thank you both so much for giving me a most memorable shower! May God richly bless you both for being such a blessing to me!

Baby Bump Week 34

This week, I got Blake to take my baby bump picture in the doorway to Caleb's room. This was on Saturday night after having had 2 showers... the one with my teacher friends on Friday and the one that Mandy and her mom, Michelle gave me on Saturday with all of my mom and Brenda's friends. I went through all the gifts and placed everything out on the floor so I could get an idea of all that Caleb got. Below, you can see a picture of the floor in his room... oh how the Lord has blessed us!

Mommy has a lot of work to do =)

Teacher Baby Shower

This past Friday, my teacher friends gave me a wonderful baby shower. We had it at Steverinos and enjoyed yummy pizza, snacks, and a delicious cake that everyone loved. We even had a fun game, which you can see below. You had to guess mine and Blake's ages in all of the different pictures throughout the years. Nilda was the winner!

Isn't it so cute - a big bottle!!!

Couple's Baby Shower

We had our Couple's Shower this past Saturday at David and Jamie's house. My precious girlfriends that gave us this shower went above and beyond at making us feel loved and special. With such thoughtfulness, prayers, and love, they celebrated Caleb's life. Here are just some of the pictures taken by my sweet sisterfriend, Jordan, at the shower.

The girls decorated with blue and green throughout most of the house to match Caleb's room... you can see in the picture all of the many details that they put into each decoration.

And for Blake, they had a special room with Georgia Bulldog decorations.

In the dining room, they had all of the food set out - all of Blake's favorites.
In the centerpiece is a precious diaper cake made by my dear friend Jamie.
In the kitchen was a beautiful cake baked and decorated by Patty.
Not only was it beautiful but it tasted delicious.

My girlfriends who put together this amazing shower...
Jordan, Jamie, Jessica, Kristi, Jaime (and Summer and Patty who aren't in the picture)

And a big thanks to their husbands who helped watched the little ones while they prepared.

Opening Presents...
Since it was a couple's shower, I wanted Blake to open all of the gifts.
He did a fabulous job taking on this role, and I have to say he kept me laughing the whole time with his funny comments. Here are some of the pictures that captured those silly and sweet moments.

Thank you Lord for loving us so sweetly through all of our friends and family.
Thank you for their many prayers, and thank you for the gift and miracle of Caleb's life.
